A:
Ah, one of my FAVORITES! 1. Take 2 points, ill take (0, 0) and (4, 12) 2. Set them as "1" and "2" so (0, 0) be 1 and (4, 12) be 2. 3. [tex] \frac{y_{2}-y _{1} }{x_{2}-x_{1}} [/tex] and insert the equations. 4. You get [tex] \frac{12-0}{4-0} [/tex] which simplifies to [tex] \frac{12}{4} [/tex]. 5. [tex]12 /4[/tex]=3 6. Slope = 3 Hope this helps ^^
