President Sergio Osmena’s appointees in Leyte

Don Sergio Suico Osmena Sr., became the first and only Cebuano to become president on August 1, 1944, took his oath in the United States upon the death of President Quezon. He came to the Philippines on October 20, 1944 together with Gen. McArthur in the famous, Leyte Landings. Osmena made Leyte Provincial Capitol as his office.
