DVMF meets Carbon Market meat and fish dealers

EMPLOYEES of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Fisheries (DVMF) met with meat and fish dealers of Carbon Public Market on July 19, 2021.

The meeting was spearheaded by DVMF headed by Dr. Jessica Maribojoc with the coordination of Cebu City Health Department (CCHD) and Market Operations Division (MOD) of Cebu City.

During the meeting, the DVMF presented the rules and regulations relative to Hygienic Handling of Newly Slaughtered Meat and the Chilled, Frozen, and Thawed Meat.

Also discussed during the gathering was the registration and licensing of meat stakeholders as well as the new rate of Regulatory Service Fee that will take effect on August 1, 2021

Meanwhile, the Animal Health Division of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Fisheries (DVMF) of the Cebu City government once again extends its services to select barangays in the city.

The following services were as follows:

July 21 – Free Dog Anti-Rabies Vaccination (Bulacao)

July 22 – Free Anti-Rabies Vaccination (Bulacao)

July 24 – Adoption Display (Parkmall)

July 25 – Dog Spaying and Anti-Rabies Vaccination – by appointment (ABCC)
