Hontiveros promotes mobile clinic

SENATOR Risa Hontiveros is promoting the Healthy ‘Pinas Mobile Clinic nationwide to bring its services nearer to the people especially at this time of Covid-19 pandemic.

Hontiveros has also given P40 million for the City of Bogo, Cebu to improve the hospital facilities, and P40 millIon to San Remegio, Cebu for the construction of a gym.

Hontiveros is supported by Cebu 7th District Congressman Peter Calderon and 7th District Board Member Jerome Librando.

Librando said that if the 7th District people are afraid of going to Cebu City and other places for laboratory and consultation, the Healthy ‘Pinas Mobile will be the one to go to their areas.

Librando said the free services offered with limited slots only are ultrasound; X-ray; ElectroCardioGram  (ECG); Laboratories like blood extraction, blood sugar count, cholesterol count, CBC, Tryglycerides, Uric acid; and medical consultation.

Librando said that because of the health pandemic, the people are afraid to go to other places for laboratory and consultation.

The people of Cebu’s 7th District are grateful to Healthy ‘Pinas Mobile Clinic founded by Hontiveros and supported by Calderon and Librando for giving free services.

Librando said that during schedules in several places, the registration starts at 6:30 am.

The schedules are: September 2021 in Barangay Poblacion, Ginatilan, Cebu; September 4 in Barangay Poblacion, Alcantara; September 6 in Alegria, Cebu; September 7 in Ronda, Cebu; and September 8 in Dumanhug, Cebu.

Calderon and Librando urged the people who want to avail of the free medical clinic to register early to avoid the influx of residents.

They said the people who want to avail of the medical services can enlist their names at the respective mayor’s office of their coordinators.

Librando said that those who will go on fasting can go to the designated areas at 6:30 am so they can immediately eat their breakfast after the test.

Librando added that they are strictly implementing the health protocols so everyone must wear face mask, face shield and a one-meter social distancing. ELIAS O. BAQUERO
