ILLEGAL FARE HIKES

COMMUTERS have called out van-for-hire V-hire) operators for illegally raising fares by at least P10 on routes between the cities of Cebu and Lapulapu.

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board 7 has not authorized any fare hike.

All matrix adjustments must come from LTFRB Manila, making this recent increase a direct violation of franchise rules.
