RESIGNED Ako Bicol Partylist Rep. Zaldy Co's video revelation that he got nothing from budget insertions does not hold water.
He wants to convince the public that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and ex-Speaker Martin Romualdez were the two officials that received a lot of moolah and that he earned not even a single cent from the controversial bounty.
Tell that to the tanods, Mr. Co.
The phrase "flight is a sign of guilt" could very well apply to the ex-legislator and his use of social media to accuse the President and the ex-Speaker makes his video revelation useless or unbelievable.
Mr. Co's reason of hiding abroad for fear of liquidation is shallow and hollow. In Cebuano, "haw-ang."
If he believes he is not guilty regarding the budget insertions anomaly, he should return to the Philippines and face the music by making his testimony right here where he can present all physical evidence to prove his point.
As it is now, Mr. Co's revelation is a question of credibility.
Unless and until he comes home, the Filipino people will never take his video revelation as a credible one.
Mr. Co should return and clear his name and reputation not on foreign shores. But right here.
