THE National Shrine of St. Joseph took a step toward becoming a basilica by presenting initial development plans to stakeholders.
It is also appealing for community support to fund the P100 million project..
Fr. Ian Fel Balankig, a member of the shrine's team of pastors, encouraged all families to support the initiative by finding specific components or offering donations.
He added they will submit all official documents to Rome by 2029.
