CITY LEGISLATORS TAKE UP SENIORS' AID HIKE

CEBU City legislators are weighing whether to increase the annual financial assistance for senior citizens or to broaden eligibility.

They are also pushing for measures to remove deceased members from the list of beneficiaries.

Councilor Sisinio Andales had first proposed increasing the yearly senior citizens' aid from P12,000 to P15,000.

Andales explained that it is now time to hike the aid.
