SATAN'S CHILDREN

THERE is a proposal to lower the age of criminal responsibility following a series of crimes involving minors.

In 2006, Republic Act 9344, known as the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act, was passed, setting the minimum age of criminal responsibility at 15.

Well, that was 19 years ago when minors were not yet that tech savvy, compared to the present situation where most minors, even as young as 7, can easily and speedily access the internet where some sex platforms are readily available.

There is an urgent need to lower the age of criminal responsibility -- an effective way of discouraging Satan's children from further causing trouble against the public.

It is sad to note that several minors are now snatchers, thieves, drug mules and even rapists.

These Satan's children have to be sued and jailed, so let the lowering of the age of criminal responsibility be enforced pronto.
