ALCOVER ASSAILS COLON NIGHT MARKET

CEBU City Councilor Pastor Alcover Jr. has hit the Colon night market as highly questionable.

It was discovered that the Participative Association of Sugbo Vendors Inc. is managing the market.

Alcover has long suspected that the night market was allowed to operate without the legally required approval from the Garbo Asenso Sumbanan Alyansa sa Gugma Board.

This board is City Hall's official body for regulating vendors.

Its aim is to ensure fairness, transparency and order in stall allocations while enforcing safety and sanitation standards.
