FORMER 7th District Congressman Peter John Calderon says he merely submitted funding requests and had no role in the final budget appropriations and insertions.

Calderon's district received the largest share of flood control projects in Cebu.

Data consolidated showed that the 7th District was the biggest recipient of flood control funds from 2022-2025.

The amount involved was P12.06 billion for 162 projects.
