COUNCIL SEEKS DELAY IN IPM-CDC PAYMENT
THE Bacolod City Council has approved a resolution requesting Mayor Greg Gasataya to defer payment to IPM -Construction Development Corp.
The firm is the city's service provider for garbage collection and disposal.
The deferment was considered
necessary pending a thorough evaluation of the corporation's liability to the city, including but not limited to liquidated damages, unperformed services and undelivered contractual obligations.
There were concerns raised regarding alleged delays, deficiencies and inconsistencies in the firm's performance.
