THE distribution of financial assistance to over 92,000 senior citizens in Cebu City might hit a snag at the council.
Legislators decided to discuss it in a special session after they noted an increase in the number from the previous list of beneficiaries.
Councilor Dave Tumulak, chairman of the committee on budget and finance, raised the matter through a resolution intending to support the release of the quarterly financial aid for senior citizens.
His resolution also stemmed from requests for the augmentation of the third-quarter allocation totaling P11,403,000.
