PAY AND PENSION RAISE FOR TEACHERS

SENATOR Risa Hontiveros says there is a need for a P15,000 across-the-board monthly wage hike for all public school teachers and employees.

She stressed this is in addition to medical discounts, other benefits and the protection of their pension contributions.

She emphasized that teachers pour in their time, effort and love for schoolchildren, so to thank them, they should be given a salary increase.
