FRASCO'S REWARD

TO prove that there were/are no ghost flood control projects within his jurisdiction, Cebu's 5th district, Congressman Duke Frasco is offering half a million pesos as cash reward to those that can pinpoint one or more of such undertaking.

Actually, such a reward that comes from his personal pocket is not necessary but we understand why Frasco is allocating the amount if only to entice people to help him stress the point that as the father of the district, he has not caused the putting up of ghost flood control projects within his political territory.

We expect the people to inform the good congressman about the presence of such projects, if any, with or without the promised P500,000 bounty.

But we appreciate Frasco for offering his personal funds for the purpose -- an act that the rest of our legislators aren't doing.

Will they follow suit?
