COUNCILOR BARES COMMUNICATION GAP

CEBU City Councilor Winston Pepito has raised a seemingly deeper disconnect between the legislators and Mayor Nestor Archival.

Pepito called it a communication gap that leads to "blindness" in decision making.

The councilor issued the statement over the immobilization of his vehicle during the recent Fiesta Señor novena masses.

He exposed what he branded as a growing divide with the mayor, which has made them (councilors) vulnerable to public misunderstanding.

Pepito, who chairs the Sanggunian committee on transportation, revealed his frustrations over the lack of updates from the executive department headed by the mayor.
